Pais and Huasa
This line is elaborated from the variety Pais, also called Mision, Listan Prieto.
This variety brought by the missionaries has been set aside in the Chilean wine industry, until Louis-Antoine Luyt showed that he could make fine wines with it and of high quality.
The Huasa wines are kept in barrels, however the Pais wines are not.
The name "Huasa" comes from the name of the wife of the Huaso, the chilean farmer.
